9月的時候去了一趟維也納，參加 Align 全球講師會議。每次跟各國講師聚在一起，都覺得充滿了電

我從台灣出發，提早一天抵達，天氣超好，索性散步到附近的美景宮，看了克林姆的《吻》，真跡的金色比印刷品耀眼很多～

第一天報到，沒有讓我們待在室內，而是全員出發到內城區，圍繞聖史蒂芬大教堂玩 Amazing Race。我被分在以貝多芬命名的 Ludwig 組，同組的醫師來自不同國家，大家平常都是在台上講課的人，那天卻一起在市中心闖關！其中一關是各組分到一張紙著色，最後拼成一幅畫。謎底揭曉～～～才發現原來是我前一天才看過的《吻》 當晚的歡迎酒會，在頂樓看夜景，我帶了自己監製的肌功能訓練布偶，送給組員們、醫師們，大家都很喜歡（真的拍了很多照片XD）

第二天上了整天課，看到相當新鮮的技術，很期待接下來的發展。傍晚走去晚宴的路上，所有人在 Albertina 門口的大階梯拍大合照。剛好那天是 Albertina 的「畢卡索—培根」大展開幕，後來才知道，培根是十幾歲時在巴黎看了畢卡索的展，才決定當畫家的，之後一輩子都想追過畢卡索。
看到這個故事很有感觸。十幾年前我第一次接觸隱適美，也是一看就覺得「就是這個了」，一路做到現在。現在換我教學生，也很期待哪天被學生超越，嘿嘿～

第三天一樣是滿滿的課。重要的是，我們 Ludwig 組拿下了分組冠軍！ 最後一晚在 Weltmuseum Wien，像是電影一樣的場景，盔甲、槍枝、四重奏，晚餐吃了快四小時......

會後收到超有魅力的主持人 Kimberly 精心整理的照片，最後一張就是大家一起拼出來的《吻》。謝謝 Kimberly 和 Align 的用心安排，也謝謝這幾天一起的夥伴，下次見！

In September I went to Vienna for the Align Global Faculty Meeting. Every time I get together with faculty from around the world, I come home fully recharged

Flying in from Taiwan, I arrived a day early. The weather was perfect , so I strolled over to the Belvedere to see Klimt’s “The Kiss.” The gold in the original is so much more dazzling than in any print

On Day 1, instead of keeping us indoors, they sent everyone out into Vienna’s Old Town for an Amazing Race around St. Stephen’s Cathedral. I was on Team Ludwig, named after Beethoven, with doctors from different countries. We’re all used to being up on stage teaching, but that day we were racing through the city center together completing challenges! In one of them, each team colored a sheet of paper, and all the pieces were put together into one big painting. When it was revealed... it was “The Kiss,” the very painting I’d seen the day before At the welcome reception that evening, with a rooftop view over the city, I gave out the myofunctional training plush toys I developed to my teammates and fellow doctors. Everyone loved them (and yes, we took a LOT of photos XD)

Day 2 was a full day of lectures, and we saw some really exciting new technology. I’m looking forward to what comes next! On our walk to dinner that evening, we all took a group photo on the grand staircase of the Albertina. It happened to be the opening day of the Albertina’s “Picasso – Bacon” exhibition. I later learned that Bacon decided to become a painter after seeing a Picasso exhibition in Paris as a teenager, and spent the rest of his life trying to surpass him.

That story really moved me. When I first encountered Invisalign more than ten years ago, I knew right away: “This is it.” I’ve been doing it ever since. Now that I’m the one teaching, I’m looking forward to the day my students surpass me, hehe~

Day 3 was another full day of lectures. Even better, Team Ludwig won the overall team championship! Our final night was at the Weltmuseum Wien, a scene straight out of a movie, with armor, weapons, a string quartet, and a dinner that lasted almost four hours...

After the meeting, our wonderfully charismatic host Kimberly sent us a beautifully curated photo collection, and the very last photo was “The Kiss” we had all pieced together.
